Copperplate Font is an introduction to Gothic Serif, more commonly referred to as Copperplate Gothic Font. Developed at a type foundry in America by internationally-recognized artist Frederic Goudy.
This font belongs to the Wedge classification. After being updated periodically for some years, Linotype officially released this font with two courier fonts which could be used across designs before only being utilized as Heading fonts.
This Gothic serif typeface has become increasingly popular thanks to its use on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.” It first gained fame through this TV game show.
Font and its design is used for logo designing, media printing and development as well as many other purposes.
