Hind Font is a typeface for User Interface design and is available for free under the Open Font License. This font is available in Devanagari as well as Latin scripts and has been designed for User Interface purpose only; the Hind family of fonts contains five styles. Most of the strokes are thin and elongated, and most of the strokes are horizontal or vertical shear instead of on the diagonal line, it has a humanist structure.
Hind is easily distinguishable and includes counter forms which are in the form of characters. Furthermore, the letterforms of Hind are welcoming; thus, this typeface family is ideal for reading words. Measures of headline heights of both scripts are also well adjusted to ensure that the height of Devanagari is 94% taller than the Latin uppercase letters.
