Poppins Font Geometric sans serif fonts have long been a favorite design tool, and Poppins is among the latest entrants into this long lineage of designs. Supporting both Devanagari and Latin writing systems gives this font an internationalized approach to its genre.
Latin characters (such as ampersand) tend to be more intricate and rationalistic than their common counterparts, while this Devanagari typeface design stands out by featuring multiple weight options for this font type. Similar to its Latin counterpart, Devanagari relies heavily on pure geometry–particularly circles–when creating its characters.
Every letterform is almost monolinear, and optical corrections to stroke joints when needed to ensure an even color scheme in typographic characters. Devanagari characters’ heights and Latin ascender’s height are identical; capital letters in Devanagari characters tend to be shorter while in Latin capital letters the height of a capital letter’s x is quite high.
Handwriting font is a pleasure to write in, making my experience freer thanks to its soft edges and comfortable writing surface. Additionally, this font is easily readable while being slightly bolder than other handwriting fonts that I possess.
