As a further development of the Microgramma which he had helped to design, Novarese started to work on the typography named Eurostile in 1968.
Along with the lowercase, Microgramma was a titling font, which contains only the uppercase letters and comes with different sorts of weight. Novarese later address this limitation in Eurostile that he designed a decade after Microgramma; Eurostile consist of seven fonts including the lowercase letters, a strain that is bold condensed and an ultra- narrow design which Novarese named Eurostile Compact.
