Deloitte Font Touche Tohmatsu Limited is an international professional services firm offering corporate financial management, taxation consulting and audit. Their full name is Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited; each firm that makes up this group operates independently under local laws in their country of origin. Deloitte was recently named one of the top companies of 2021 and one of the best places for professionals starting out their careers during this decade – its story dating back all the way to 1845 when they established in London.
William Welch, the founder of Deloitte, expanded Haskins & Sells before changing it to Deloitte Haskins & Sell and Touche Ross internationally. Later in 1989 and 1993 the name changed again – eventually to Deloitte & Touche and ultimately just Deloitte today – leading to many more clients joining and earnings for Deloitte as a business.
In 2012, this led to them sponsoring Olympic Games. Based on latest figures for 2020 – an exceptionally volatile year due to the coronavirus epidemic – they made a record breaking $47.6 million through auditing and consulting services, taxation consulting, financial transactions legal services, fines collections and penalties; making them one of the three largest corporations owned by one person across United States.
